• PACKAGING LEVEL
  When products are manufactured they often go through the following packaging levels:
  • CU (CONSUMER UNIT)
    
  • TU (TRADE UNIT)
    
  • LU (LOGISTICAL UNIT)
    Each packaging level can be considered and implemented as a self-contained cell with identical functionality -> Identify -> Mark -> Check -> Log.
    
    
• TRACK & TRACE
  With marking and identification, we create the basic conditions needed to run Track & Trace for products. Checking and logging provide the data for transfer to the Track&Trace system (generally ERP).
  
  
• LINE CONTROL
  Line control refers to the handling of marking and identification devices, not the control of a packaging line. Data are coordinated and synchronised with the manufacturing process, provided at the right time or collected and stored.
  
  
• SYSTEM INTEGRATION
  Labelling systems often need to be integrated into existing IT infrastructure. The provision of standardised data and signal interfaces makes this possible.
