Quality management : above-average and consistent

Pago has been ISO 9001 certified since 1993. However, to meet the high industry-specific requirements, our own quality standards often exceed the requirements of these norms. All employees are responsible for attaining a high quality in their particular areas of activity. This goal is achieved through continuous professional development and training. A powerful EDP system (Axapta) supports the employees through all the steps of the order process, i.e. from customer enquiry through to delivery of the finished product.

Incoming goods control

Laboratory-based specialists check the incoming raw materials for specific properties such as tack (initial adhesion), release (adhesion strength), adhesive application weight and many others.

Quality assurance in printing

High quality is assured through a controlled production process and by means of spot checks. Proof readers check and approve the incoming print data. Once the printing machines have been set up, the samples are checked by revisers using electronic devices (such as scanners, barcode verifiers and cameras). Once underway, the production process is monitored by the machine operators and by final inspection staff. The latter check the finished printed products before they are released for packing and dispatch.

Quality assurance in engineering

In engineering, quality inspection is standardised and conducted according to detailed inspection instructions and checklists. The labelling systems can be validated upon customer request. Validation is a documented and traceable inspection according to the pharmaceutical industry standard GAMP (Good Automated Manufacturing Practice).
