These are clearly visible to the naked eye and are therefore also immediately recognised by customers as measures intended to assure product security. Visual elements, such as holograms, guilloches and colour-change effects, not only offer protection against counterfeiting, they are also visually attractive to the customer. They emphasise both the value of the product and the care the brand owner takes in dealing with product piracy.
- Hidden security features
These are integrated in elements of the label and can only be detected by the retailer or controller under certain conditions or using special equipment.
